Objectives:
  • To promote citizen-cantered good governance and to move towards a dynamic administration, the Government of Maharashtra established the state’s training policy on 23rd September 2011 to address the ongoing changes in administration as per the times.
  • Through this policy, Yashada was declared the apex training institution.
  • All other training institutions in the state were affiliated with Yashada.
  • According to this policy, a three-tier structure of training institutions at the state, division, and district levels was created, successfully integrating uniformity across all training institutions.
  • Through this government decision, the responsibility of planning, coordination, and evaluation of administrative training in the state was entrusted to the State Training Planning and Evaluation Mechanism. The three core Points —1) Training for all, 2) Continuous training, and 3) Needs-based training—define the direction of this department’s work.
Main Objectives:
  • To effectively implement the state training policy.
  • To plan the training of Class A, B, C, and D officers/employees in the state.
  • To evaluate the training programs organized by state, division, and district-level institutions.
Contact Officer :
  • As the apex training institution of Maharashtra, Yashada is responsible for organizing training programs for the officers/employees of all government departments. To coordinate with all these departments, officers/employees working at Yashada have been assigned the responsibility of Contact Officers.
Training Manager :
  • Training Managers have been appointed to coordinate the training of officers/employees in each government department and to plan all aspects of the department’s training.
Regional Administrative Training Institute :
  • To enhance the efficiency of officers/employees at all levels of state government and make the administration more dynamic, the Regional Administrative Training Institute was established under the control of the Divisional Commissioner at the divisional headquarters, as per the government decision on 14th October 2013.
District Administrative Training Institutions :
  • With the objective of enhancing the capabilities of each component of the state government services, district-level administrative training institutions have been established to complete training-related tasks at the district headquarters under the control of the District Collector, as per the government decision on 14th August 2014.
